Dharitri Youth Conclave
The drastic effects of climate change are now being globally felt and the tumultuous adverse reactions due to global warming are quite visible. India is no exception to this rule and the state of Odisha has been bearing the brunt of the devastating effects of climate change. Multiple cyclones on an annual basis, droughts, floods, coastal erosion, wildfires and lightning deaths have ravaged Odisha. Victims of climate change are far too many in the state and the situation will only worsen over time unless urgent steps and concrete action is put in place.
Amid this backdrop, Dharitri, the most credible and impartial regional daily of Odisha, is taking steps to create consciousness among the youth of the state regarding this most urgent issue of climate change.
The aim of the Conclave is to create consciousness among the youth and bring together people working for the same cause to inspire each other to work towards a collective future.
